Apparently Grigorovs and Viegas have been posing as referees in Cyprus

Did the FAI investigate and then clear these guys of anything untoward ? Or was it a legal investigation ?

It's frightening that that consortium was allowed buy into the League of Ireland. You have licensing and supposed transparency and then one of the most corrupt people involved in football comes along and hey presto we have a match-fixing investigation that damages the credibility and image of the league. All that came of the FAI investigation as far as I recall was that Labuts and Sfrijan got a year's ban each which Stephen McGuinness went ballistic over saying there shouldn't have been any punishment. So those two were guilty but we're supposed to believe Grigorovs or Viegas weren't involved. And there doesn't seem to have been any consequences for this Eric Mao.
