Hendrick should be dropped. He either doesn’t understand his role or just doesn’t play well in it. Either way, he hasn’t played well for us all year.

Hopefully tonight this nightmare will be over and the two stooges will go.

    5-3-1-1. Fantastic.

At least I don’t have to watch McClean run the ball out of touch every 10 minutes.

For sure. Really hoping the Danes do us a favour. Enough is enough with those two donkeys in charge.

    From my count - that's 6 defenders, 1 central midfielder & 3 left wingers.

Really bad. Did O'Neill learn nothing from Thursday? That midfield is being swamped. Which of them is supposed to be driving the team forward or at least maintaining possession in the centre of the park?

If it wasnt for Seamus Coleman I don't think we'd have completed a successful pass so far. No-one else wants the ball.

I'd like to try him in the back 3. Maybe he can do for us what Kyle Walker did for England in the summer

That would require a modicum of creativity and innovation from a footballing dinosaur unfortunately

We need a proper holding midfielder. We don’t have one on the pitch. Until/if Rice commits we need to look at alternatives.

I think most here would like to see Williams get a chance but it’s becoming clear O’Neill doesn’t rate him. If McCarthy is fit for the qualifiers he’ll be that man and it will make a world of difference.

If Rice doesn’t commit and McCarthy is unavailable, we are totally f*cked if O’Neill doesn’t start playing a proper holding player. Really dire stuff.

Now after writing all this watch us claim a 1-0 bit of road thievery....

    Central MF non existent.

I’d rather lose 5 nil and have a go than parking the bus.
