The FAI Referee Beginners Course takes place over two days, with 15 hours of tuition taking place in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Monaghan, Donegal and Dublin host the final courses of the year, where the participants will be given their first taste of refeereing.
Courses generally run from 9am–5pm. All participants must attend both days in full.
The practical session will not involve any physical activity but it is recommended that you bring suitable clothing with you in case of inclement weather.
You will be required to undertake, and pass, a 20-question exam on the Laws of the game.
Bring a notebook and pen/pencil. Bring a whistle. Bring an open mind and lots of enthusiasm!
