loved ballybracks press release very witty at times... reminds you so much of the stephen ireland incident.

Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Seen this on Twotter earlier.
Iconic image - from Athlone v AC Milan 1975 i believe?(that was the heading on the photo)so much going on
I can imagine that the pitch wasnt much better than the parking area!
Game in the U17 European Championships in Longford held up because the ref went to Offaly instead 😂
very funny story tonight! I was stewarding at the game tonight and spoke to the taxidriver at it! he made a honest mistake. he hadnt being to Longford in over 20 years and made the wrong turn at Kinnegad! he showed me how little battery he had and obviously couldnt use his sat-nav!
and to make it more interesting the last time he was in Longford was in the mid 90s when he reffed a Longford Town Home Farm game in Mullogher when a certain Stephen Kenny was playing for Home Farm!
I cant remember his name but he reffed in the 90s and early 00s and reffed our games in Abbeycartron and Mullogher!
its only in the league of ireland that this happens!

Wrong anthems played out in Bray this afternoon. The Austrian anthem was announced, but the Spanish one was played, and then vice versa.
Did the Austrians sing the Spanish anthem?

3 Sligo fans landed in Waterford tonight expecting a League of Ireland game apparently,at least they got a game!
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
The Kilcoynes’ sale of Milltown has been mentioned but Louis then went on to become President of the FAI !! I mean you couldn’t write better fiction and then they were going to have a minute’s silence to mourn his passing at LOI games - at least they had the sense to drop that.
Has to be up there
https://twitter.com/sligorovers27 min. The Finn Harps mascot has been sent off for pretending to save shots behind our goal (0-0)
During the game? Could have been distracting though still funny!
He wasn't exactly sent off, just told by the referee to clear off from behind the goal as he was mimicing every move the goalkeeper made.
Former Harps player Conor keddy in the costume
too, and he's mad as a bag of cats.
