It's bad going when we can't even fill one CD.
Eire06 will have to nominate some more Saw Doctors tracks.

    No I'll move onto Westlife

On the One Road - Wolftones

As no Derry or Rovers fan has contributed these (I think)

    Teenage Kicks
    Build me up buttercup

the respective fans renditions would bring a tear to a glass eye

I'd like to suggest (seeing as we're still on CD1)

"You're the one for me, Fatty - Morrissey" for all those still clinging to the idea that Dolan will be back at CCFC (or for Waterford fans now that ger O'Brien has left)

    Controversial

    Heard it was Clough too.

Cant have a match with Digger without the Can can or the Hokie-Pokie being sung!

Would include 'Smile like you mean it' by The Killers for Bowyer and Dyer if this included EPL games
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

An Dearg Doom Or Put 'em under pressure or whatever the soccer version is called.
    Best football song ever.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

    REALLY Controversial!

Thought the song was made up soley of Brain Clough quotes i.e. 'if God had meant football to be played up there he would have put goal posts in the air.'

    Its about Missing Galway\Tuam

Think you and Peadar are out to get me

Well I didn’t see much future
When I left the Christian brothers school
So i waved it goodbye with a wistful smile
And I left the girls of Tuam
    Sometimes when I’m reminiscing
I see the prefabs and my old friends
And I know that they’ll be changed or gone
By the time I get home again.
And I wish I was on the n17
Stone walls and the grass is greener
Travelling with just my thoughts and dreams

Well the ould fella left me to shannon
Was the last time I traveled that road
And ass we turned left at claregalway
I could feel a lump in my throat
As I pictured the thousands of times
That I traveled that well worn track
And I know that things will be different
If I ever decide to go back
Now as I tumble down highways
    Or on filthy overcrowded trains
There’s no one to talk to in transit
So I sit there and daydream in vain
Behind all those muddled up problems
Of living on a foreign soil
I can still see the twists and the turns on the road
From the square to the town of the tribes

For them last moments that seem to last forever when your 1-0 up and the opposition is on the attack and they are looking good:
The Futureheads - Trying Not to Think About Time

If your one of them teams that seem to forever miss out and are now living in the lands of pessimism (no teams named) then this should be your season anthem:
The Coral - Waiting for the Heartaches

This one is for all the League Ref's decisions.
    The Zutons - Confusion

Peader - Teenage Kicks and Build me Up Buttercup are 2 different tunes, not the name of a band and a tune. We need to get you up to Derry, boy......

Anyone know Adam & Joe's pish-take football anthem 'Ball, ball ball; footy, footy, footy' (sadly it's an England lament). Includes the famous line "Pork pie, sausage roll, come on England - give us a goal....!".

Whilst on the theme of England footie tunes, Three Lions is by far the best footy tune ever. Though I don't want it listed, as it's English )

Can I have 'Joxer went to Stuttgart' then by the legend that is Christy Moore...? I'm sure 'whacker' from Inchicore would've been a Pat's fan....

The Foundations - Build Me Up Buttercup and Undertones - Teenage Kicks to put the record straight. Teenage Kicks is the best irish pop song along with Revelate by the Frames, I am not even a frames song but its very good!

Surely as he'd never been 'outside of Inchicore' he would be a ManUre fan!
