Pat's sign Brandon Miele and Mikey Drennan.
Good signing for Harps, certainly an improvement on Friel and a decent replacement for Kavanagh.
He'll fit right in, mouthy, has a dirty streak in him. Solid but unspectacular player. Ollie has made some very shrewd signings so far. Harps will be hard to beat next year.
roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
Pat's sign Brandon Miele and Mikey Drennan.
Are any of that toxic brennan family still on the books at pats? Getting rid of them would have as much effect on their upward trajectory as their new signings in my opinion.
It'll be strange for me watching pats next season. I have lots of time for Gary Shaw, and H is still a hero from my early Rovers days.🤔
Sick we didn't get Drennan re-signed. He was excellent for us.
Killian and Ryan I think. I hope so anyway as its a guaranteed game against 10 men for Dundalk. Apart from that why do you seem them as toxic. On form Killian was a quality player, he just always lost it against Dundalk. Wasnt one of them played at full back when at Rovers?
With the shortage of decent strikers i'd have thought he'd have been top of Buckley's list to re-sign. If he wasnt signing back then i'd have thought Rovers might have given him a second chance as he'd be a known quantity compared to Gormley and a damn sight cheaper of the 2 players as gamble on whether they'd work out.
Sean Brennan is the heavy one and was Drogs POTS last year. He’s always been the most technical alongside Killian and you just wonder if he had looked after himself physically how far he could’ve gone
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
If he is motivated he can play but
1. He's a problem with attitude
2. He is seeing out time taking a few bob wherever he can
If Finn can convince him to try his hardest to prove a point he could be a good signing.
My prediction ....gone by july
Killian came in with Garvan and Balk the season before last and kept us up, he was brilliant and almost single-handedly changed our midfield (Garvan didn't actuallly play much but made an impact when he did). Last season he was constantly injured, and whenever he wasn't and played he hadn't yet caught up to pace yet before he'd get injured again. Still absolutely quality on the ball and had some great contributions (Rovers at home a particular highlight) but I think his legs/body might have given up on him at Premier Division level.
Has the potential to be a brilliant signing for a team in the mould of Longford though. Could see him doing a similar job to what Keegan will presumably do at Bray. If he can stay semi fit he could handily dictate most games in that league, especially if he were playing for a team like Longford whose style would suit him.
