It will effect the annual balance sheet negatively. But you are right, until repayments are being made it wont impact on turnover but at some point unless written off the loan will come in to play. Is it a cash injection from a board member though, even if intended to pay for capital developments?

On a side note, is Roadstone owned by Rovers or part lease agreement involved? (genuine question!!).

Roadstone is owned by roadstone but rovers have a long lease. Pretty sure it's 10 years at least.
Iirc it might be 11 years left of 15

Injury notwithstanding, can't say I blame Perth. A fit Meyler would be an upgrade on Shields but hardly the area you'd want to be splashing the cash considering you've already got a top class player there.

I have a feeling this winter Dundalk will be signing a lot higher calibre of player, some will obviously need to move on. Murray has been ok this year but was expecting a lot more, maybe the year two thing he will kick in, like a lot moving to Dundalk generally do.

We need better quality MF and another decent striker. I'd def keep Hoban but that contract thing is dragging on.

Id expect SOD to try bring a few from Dundalk in the close season.

The club are very close with transfer info these days so unlikely that anything said is much more than conjecture but plenty of rumours doing the rounds.
The predictions made by sbgawa i think it was have been said by a number of people round town the last few days. Garts and Massey on the move if they want but will be fringe players next season. Garts may, with a year to run on his contract start to move toward a coaching role. Massy as cover for Dummigan as he can play left full and can switch if Gannon is out for any reason.
The club trying to get Benson not to call it a day as the injury v Qarabag which was more than a simple 'rib injury' and seemingly has rattled him especially after the bad early season injury so considering focusing on his actuarial career. Dummigan looking for assurances on more game time which would happen if Massey were to move for game time - of course with O'Donnell at St Pats thats where all the players are destined. McGrath wants a pop in England so a new deal needs to be a good one. Jarvis's future supposedly being considered.
Stand off still there with Hoban with no deal on the table currently never mind the earlier offers - not willing to work with the agent in question, has interest from elsewhere but doesnt want to move withing LoI, of course that has resulted in a link with Linfield rumour.
The net is being cast wider for players with a number of loan deals considered. Was part of O'Donnell's remit when scouting opposition (could be handy info for St Pats). Flores struggling with his injury so depending on the next couple of months will have a bearing midfielder signings. A right midfielder has been appraoched already and there are a few hatstands being wacthed also. Georgie Kelly is getting itchy feet too with potential strikers in ahead of him if Hoban goes. So basically nothing new!

I wouldn’t expect any of Dundalks top players but I’d imagine that some of the fringe players would interest him. The last few games of the season will give him time to see what he needs. I’m totally in the dark on how he will set the team up.

What are you basing this feeling on?
Are they expecting arrivals from overseas or is it home based players? Based on comments made by vermaalen(?) dundalk as a place to live isn't the most alluring of attractions.

Thomas Vermaelan wont be joining Dundalk - he has gone to Vissel Kobe in Japan from Barcelona, presumably with glamour model wife Polly Parsons in tow.

Meanwhile the tortured soul that is Niclas Vemmelund joined his 8th club in 8 years when he returned homesick to Denmark to the join Middelfart Boldklub in the alluring town of Middelfart.
