Definitely a good player , I think dundalks focus is on having two first 11s where each player has an equal replacement. He can cover a few positions and is a long term prospect.

A lot within DFC keep saying that about two players for each position, but there isn't for left side MF, Duffy has no competition, Shields is probably the other. Murray did a good job there for 3-4 weeks when Shields was out, but not the same type of player / style. First world problems granted !

This season was also the first we had competition for Gannon, (Hoare can play there, but not his position) Cameron Dummigan started his first league game last eve v Pats, did very well, but only for the quality of Gannon, who will probably be shortlisted for the league POTY, he would have played a lot more.

DFC have also rejected two bids for Dummingan from Grimsby, he has good exp in League 1.

He is a free agent at the end of the season I think. Very good player, though not sure who's place he'd take, but he def would improve the options, we were limited for that for the left side in Riga with Duffy not travelling.
Can absolutely see him leaving regardless of where. There's only one way Waterford are going for the foreseeable.

Has the investment dried up ? Pity as it was good to see a Waterford team challenging.

Brandon Miele has left us for...reasons.

Talk of a straight swap happening between us and Cork with Daire O'Connor and Rhys McCabe.

Surprised to see McCabe go, he was very good on the few occasions I saw him this season.

I'd agree with that myself, not to bang on too much about Kenny but I think McCabe hasn't been aided by the type of football we've been playing. He's often been played in teams where he's alongside two sitting midfielders, with five defenders behind him, so as much as certain fans have gotten on his back I think he's had a tough job of being able to impress really.

It'd make sense for him to leave if this deal were to be true though. We've already got more centre mids than we need at the moment as is, and he's one that it was well known we'd only be getting a season out of anyway (only signed for us in the first place because his Visa to move to the States got refused apparently). Good player but we've also got Lennon, Forrester, Clifford, Markey and Coleman that play in his area of the pitch, while Bermo is having to fill in on the wing...

Paddy McClean moves from Derry to Glentoran.
Has barely played this season, so probably a good move for him.

Trevor Clarke signed for Rotherham and apparently stretchered off with a brace on his leg in his first game, terrible luck if it's a repeat of his previous injury....

That’s horrible luck. The poor lad must be in bits. Hope it’s not too bad

Hopefully not, a good chance for the lad and hope he gets the chance to give it a real go.

Played for Drogs then us, lovely pair of feet but an absolute headcase with no discipline. At one stage at Pats he had as many cards as appearances.

A once promising player at Brighton who is now a a fast decent towards junior football, unless someone can save him from himself.

A talent being wasted up to now

Though McCabe has been one of Pats better players whenever iv watched them so surprised Pats will be willing to let him go. Very organised player. Lennon and Clifford both up there aswell but other than them nobody else has been decent and thats including Forrester.

We've signed Eoghan Stokes. Wasn't getting much of a look in at Derry.

Delighted with that and that he is around for next season as well ( i assume he will stay on again after the loan expires)
Wonder can he play tomorrow night or be on the bench , i assume not .

No brainer of a signing for Rovers, they'll be delighted with that.

I'd imagine that's Burke's time at Preston over, hardly going to impress enough for them to offer him a new deal and bring him back. I wonder if he had other loan options in the UK
