Paul Tierney has just been released by Man Utd, along with 5 other youngsters.

We had high hopes of this guy a couple of years ago.

Not sure of his connection as he's actually from Salford, like Terry Phelan I think. Roscommon?

Did he ever play for the first team? I know he sat on the bench for a few Champion's League games, and did well on loan at Crewe about 2 seasons ago, is it only League Cup games he got?

He maybe going on loan,who cares he will never make it Internationally,I guess he is another has been at this early age

Ah he's Irish. Its always nice to see the Irish do well.

Anyway, I wouldn't count him out of making it at international level considering the options we have at left back.
