    Paul Tierney

Paul Tierney has just been released by Man Utd, along with 5 other youngsters.

We had high hopes of this guy a couple of years ago.

Not sure of his connection as he's actually from Salford, like Terry Phelan I think. Roscommon?

Did he ever play for the first team? I know he sat on the bench for a few Champion's League games, and did well on loan at Crewe about 2 seasons ago, is it only League Cup games he got?

Aha, I understand now. The hint was that you thought he was from Roscommon, but you decided to write he was from Donegal. I should have seen it.

Ah he's Irish. Its always nice to see the Irish do well. Anyway, I wouldn't count him out of making it at international level considering the options we have at left back.
