    People's Republic XI

I know it's not strictly a City thing but while watching the all Cork central midfield competing for Ireland last night, I was wondering what Cork's first choice XI might be. Off hand, heres one possible line up

    Mick Devine
Denis Irwin Paul McCarthy Brian Carey Neal Horgan
Colin Healy Roy Keane Damien Delaney Ollie Cahill
    Dominic Foley Pat Morley

Solid (if unspectacular) centre halfs, blend of youth and experience at the full back slots, midfield looks fairly strong, bit patchy up front though. I reckon Ollie's done more than enough to earn his citizenship and qualification for the team. Reckon thats probably close to being as good as Wales or the North could put out.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Even though he's now been at Celtic for a bit, Healy has lost nothing of his Cork accent. Looks a good prospect.
