Was he any good lads? Will he be much of a loss?
eircom League First Division side Kildare County have been dealt a blow with the news that highly-rated full back Keith O達rien has parted company with the Newbridge-based club due to increasing work commitments.
O達rien, who had spells at Athlone Town and Dublin City, joined the Thoroughbreds from Cherry Orchard before the start of last season and made 23 appearances for the Station Road outfit.
He informed manager John Ryan of his decision to call time on his stay at the club earlier this week.
The 26-year-old had started four of Kildare痴 eight games in the eircom League this season.

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Nice lad, but probably the player with the poorest distribution. Tended to hoof the ball every chance he got, never seemed to look to make a pass, no matter whether he was under pressure or not. Lost out his place to Robbie Clarke and didn't look likely to get it back. Not a great loss as regards the first team, but definately a loss in terms of competition for places and cover for injuries.
