Any reason why the competition won’t be scrapped for this season, any precedent for this?
The competition is been run by amateurs and local league representatives are not helping in any way.

Start of June, this competition has gotten eerily quiet...

Is this competition null and void or what's going on. Google isn't helping to get an update. Is it a case that Junior soccer is about to get the reshuffle it needs and we will finally see Junior football being returned to what it should be, an amateur game for amateur players in amateur clubs. Are clubs with endless resources going to be forced to go up the ladder?
    I'll update this next year.

I've been trying to find any updates on this, too. Any information on the objections? Where did the new date come from?

Was speaking to a St.Michaels man this week. They have been told the final is fixed for Saturday August 31st - St.Michaels v Sheriff, so all the objections must have been thrown out. St.Michaels were told the venue would be decided this week but they are still awaiting official word from the FAI.

I presume, following the objections involving Limerick clubs, Regional and Ashling Annacotty, Sheriff would not be welcome in Limerick.

So presuming this goes ahead as scheduled ,When will they play the Tom hand super cup or has it defaulted to the intermediate winners

Fai junior cup will never lose its value, like all competitions it will just move on to next season and have its excitement and controversy like it has every year.

It won’t lose its value??? A lot of the top teams in Dublin have gone intermediate sheriff included. The value has already gone. Sheriff , killester , Ballymun, tolka rovers etc etc etc all gone intermediate

Many teams from Dublin have gone higher grade down the years, nothing new there, the FAI JUNIOR CUPs value is certainly not dependent on teams from Dublin that are lost to the intermediate ranks ,more teams come along to take up the flak.its an all Ireland competition btw so the Dubs are only part of the equation.
