Trying to figure out which games are left for each team: Ireland's got Switzerland, Israel and France at home and Cyprus and Faroe Islands away.

What's left for France and Switzerland?

Likhaim all our friends in Tel Aviv. There is no reason on earth why we shouldn't take the 13 points out of fifteen that will guarantee qualification. France are ****.

We should beat all three in Dublin. Its up to the boys in green now

Anyone know if goal difference or results against each other is the seperator at the end?

Results against each other. So technically we are ahead of the Swiss at the moment.

If three or more teams are on the same points how are they seperated? Also how do they work out the best runners up for automatic qualification? Nice one Israel!

I said it before and i say it again. This Israel side is not a bad one as they proved tonight and are on such a high at the moment they could be the real surprise package and even win this group.

Goal diffrence is not being used, it will come down to the results between tied teams to decide

2 best runner ups go through.

    3 groups of 7 and 5 groups of 6.

For the 3 groups if 7 they eliminate each teams results against the bottom teams to make them in effect groups of 6 and then all eight groups are compared with their 10 games to get the 2 best runner ups.

The remaining 6 runner ups playoff to get a further 3 to qualify.

I agree that they're better than people give them credit for but they certainly won't top the group (unless you seriously think they'll win in Dublin and Basle).

Don't think we can win in Dublin, but I think winning in Basle is a possibility...

don't disagree. Israel are far from being finished yet. Of all three, it is imperative we beat Israel and take six from them and Faroes. That will leaves us with 7 out of 9 to GUARANTEE qualification (assuming we don't draw with the swiss by a score draw of greater than or equal to 1-1).

    Personally,
I think that the swiss are in best position (after ourselves)

The Swiss can't go through, jesus i hope not anyway look at the way the performed in Portugal,it was embarrasing they were in our Group. We will want to be very very careful when we play Isreal,i think they can get a result in Basle because they are better than the Swiss. Its in our own hands and if we fcuk up. well
