SFA to meet on Monday to decide. No reason why it would be moved to East Fife, ref (appointed by SFA) called it off so why should Bohs lose home advantage ?
Every chance was given to get it played - hence late call (it was deemed unplayable by the ref at 1.30). Unfortunate for East Fife but cancellations not exactly new in Scottish football.
Not sure how many but some East Fife fans have travelled over TWICE and still not seen a match (they had booked for the earlier date).
What a gobshytes are suggesting that? Who would pay for Bohs costs of playing it away? How will Bohs' part-time squad/management get at short notice 2 days minimum off work from their employers at short notice? How would that protect the integrity of a competition by punishing the home drawn team by reversing the fixture based on a referee's decision to postpone the fixture?

The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Could they not have postponed the game just to today and maybe set Tolka Park up as a backup so that the game would be sure to go ahead today? Surely hotel rooms for the night and new flights home would be cheaper than new return flights.
Do you honestly think there are any decent hotels in Dublin sitting with much free capacity on the night of an Ireland England rugby match - let alone room for a few dozen footballers, staff and Directors (not to mention a few hundred fans) ?
Who is the FAI's 'official hotel partner' anyway ? If they have one, they'll no doubt be close to Lansdowne - which would be the busiest location during the Six Nations.
Hotel owners tend to have more than one hotel.
Seems the idea was viable to some extent just East Fife wanted to go home.
"Discussions between Bohemians, East Fife, the FAI and the SPFL were held about the possibility of playing the game later yesterday evening or this morning at an alternative venue to minimise travel expenses and disruption for East Fife, with both the synthetic surfaces at Abbotstown and Oriel Park mooted."
Time for 4G artificial pitches all round, clearly
Apparently alternative venues were suggested by Bohs (abbotstown and Oriel among others) but East Fift declined. Seems their players had a “night out” in Dublin instead. Then they try and claim a walkover 😳 expect this will be the last time LOI teams are involved

JD : "Hello - is that the FAI Partner hotel ? It's John Delaney here.
HOTEL : Ahhh John - good man. Are you calling to pay your bar bill at last ?
JD : Errr - no. Tomorrow! Ask me tomorrow ! Anyways. We've a team over from Scotland in desperate need of a hotel for an extra night in Dublin after their match got snowed off. Can yee's help ?
HOTEL : Sorry John. It's a rugby weekend. The place is crawling with English fellas boring the arse off everyone about Brexit and carrying pigeon heads in their pockets.
JD : What about the other hotel ?
HOTEL : The other Hotel ? We'd love to help John, but sure you know yourself that we like to keep that one sitting empty. Even on one of the busiest weekends of the year."
JD : No worrries so.
HOTEL : Now about that bar bill....
* Phone line goes dead *
East Fife had a hotel for Saturday night - they stayed over and players ahem ‘refueled ‘ do no accommodation needed.
Bohs withdraw from competition, embarrassing situation all round
Bohs have withdrawn apparently?
Seems a tad excessive
Embarrassing for the league. Amateur, junior football mentality.
