I agree, im only writing this cause no-one replied yet and i feel sorry 4 u.
If Ollie goes City will have no match-winners in the team so we can kiss last minute winners goodbye and lets face it we needed them a few times this season
Murphy Out NOW!

Well its my first day!
Murphy Out NOW!
Ya, while I do agree with you, Id love to know where your coming up with the idea of City scoring, and then the idea of City scoring last minute winners. Last time (possibly only time in recent memory) a last minute winner was CPOB against Shams in sept.
Ya that was sweet.
we need a prolific goal scorer like skippy in tho old days.....
j'accuse!
Do ya think so ccfcman . Dont think thtas occurred to anyone yet
We also need a new fcuking manager!!!![]()
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
Ollie........Ollie.........gonna get along without you now,
We got along without you before we met you.......
We'er gonna get along without you now............!

He brought in O'Grady, then he sold Flanagan. IMO a good trade.Originally posted by ccfcman

As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

IMO Grady has to be one of the best signing ever made by a Cork City manager.
I'd swap a team of Kelvins for O'Grady
Oh no not them again
Utter pish posh. Yes Grady is a far better player than Kelvin, and yes - Kudos to Lm for bringing him in, BUT, City badly miss a player of Kelvins mindset. He has experience and he is a damn good grafter, something which Bennet isn't (yet), and O Grady isnt either.
While I wouldnt have Kelvin in my first team, he is certainly better than not having him at all. Look at it this way. What happens if both Grady and Bennet are out at the same time (and judging by Bennets luck he will miss a few games somehow!)? Our midfield could be
ollie...bennet...mulconroy...O brien
Not great is it?
How can you say O'Grady is not a grafter, he busts his balls week in week out for Cork City and while I didn't agree with selling Kelvin as he always gave 110% for the cause, O'Grady is by far a superior player.
What I would have liked to see was O'Grady and Flanagan in centre midfield with Bennett being given a few games throughout the season.
is it fair to say that o'grady may want to go to pastures new after next season, good players leave city at a ferocious pace these days
j'accuse!
That's exactly why Kelvin wanted to leave - he wasn't getting his game. Either u refuse to let him leave & have an unhappy player causing problems in d dressing room or u sell him. While I wouldnt have Kelvin in my first team
Noel Spillane on Red FM said that Shels were supposedly offering Ollie a package that included a £30,000 signing on fee and £1,000 a week wage.
If that is true:
1. There is no way our cowboys would put up that kind of money to try and keep him at City,
2. Nobody could fault Ollie for leaving.
Best of luck Ollie.
we neec ollie. pay him what he wants.
not true. kelvin was quoted in the echo as saying he left because of a disagreement, not because he wasnt playing. murphy's wonderful ability to **** people off claims yet another victim.Originally posted by derm
