saw it somewhere online or on a podcast that half the limerick players received what was owed.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

The fiasco is all Limerick's fault, no doubt.

But I don't get the angle about Limerick not putting money into an escrow account. The same with the desire for Limerick to honour the contractual obligations when due. It's not like Limerick have money, but are withholding it for some reason.

They don't have the money. If they did, they would pay the players. They can't put any money into an escrow account because they don't have any money, and any guarantee they give about honouring contractual obligations are as worthless as the ones they have already given and broken.

Players just looking for some guarantee of getting their next months wages I suppose. PFAI are for me a typical union. Angry about everything but a necessary evil at times.

That would explain the post dated threat so (to ensure club honor the agreement). Notice of strike would have to be served again on the club if the players decide to activate their threat.

. Yeah, have we not suffered enough these last couple of seasons ?
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

PFAI wanted Limerick to put the rest of the seasons wages into an escrow account. Which I find quite bizarre.

PFAI have been training Bray players this week and not the coaching staff which I also found weird too. Coaching staff and everyone else that comes with it are always forgotten about in these situations

They wanted each installment of monthly wages to be put in escrow a month in advance, not the full four months in one go.

reason that the bray coaching staff werent included was they are non union members!
