Fully undeserved 2-0 lead for us here. Bohs have been all over us.

Sligo somehow came away from Dalymount with a 3-0 win tonight.
Bohs played some lovely stuff in the 1st half but couldn't score. Sligo played some nice stuff themselves and seemed to take almost every chance they got.
Pender was sent off early in the second for a knee high challenge. Even with 10 men the game was v even and Bohs created a few chances. Couldn't score for love nor money though.

Finn Harps beat Longford 3-0 without really hitting top gear.

    That was quite pleasing.

Fair play, sounds like it was well deserved. Our worst performance of the season according to Fenn. We have a serious consistency problem which is going to cost us.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I was at this and have to say Bohs were the better side in general play but set pieces killed them and then obviously the red card, which looked a bit harsh. Bohs seem to lack a bit of energy in the middle without Watts. I like the look of Lunney but he's not the same player and Ward slows the game down too much.

Yeah, heard Fenn mention that alright. There was an elderly Longford fan who said leaving the ground to a Harps fan that it was the best performance by anyone against Longford this season in his opinion. Take from that what you will.

Galway's win tonight keeps the interest going for another week. The best of Galway was displayed at the home fixture against UCD and something similar is required up at Belfield next week. Been a fairly disappointing season from Galway from the start and if one is making a comparison with the Tommy Dunne side that got promoted the current squad has not reached that level.

The difference was Sligo did the basics right Bohs didn't. Solid defending and actually having a plan going forward (Sligo) versus key stone cop defending and aimless passing on a bumpy pitch - even chasing the game Bohs never deviated from one up front (Corcoran) who won some ball but had no option to lay off.
The defending was nothing short of shambolic, Sligo were not particularly brilliant (by any stretch ) but did the basics and took their chances arising from awful set pieces on first two goals and poor defending on third.

Probably Bohs worst performance of the season and massive improvement needed for next weeks relegation 6 pointer. With Bray as good as relegated (barring a miracle) its looking like its between Limerick Bohs and Sligo for play off spot.

The Richmond Park pitch looks suberb.

It's a pity that the 4,000 people who came to watch Newcastle have chosen to stay away.

It's a pity that they get 1 - 1.5 k max for most games. Conan Byrne turns the game around. 2-1 now. Lovely football at times by Pats

Big win for UCD in the Bowl tonight, especially with Galway missing an early penalty.

Beat Athlone, Cabo and Cobh in the next three - by no means a guarantee - and we'll have at least a 5-point gap into the last three games, which are Drogheda, Harps and Longford...

Neil Farrugia is every bit as good as Georgie Kelly, albeit that he's a winger instead of a forward. But he's just back from injury, which will really help offset Kelly's loss.

Galway keeper came up for a corner in injury time at 2-0 down, which was a bit strange. Think his defence had a bit of a go at him over it.

Limerick denied a perfectly good equaliser. No way was that offside.

Didn't see who got the head on it, but thought he was beyond the last man.

Did alright in the first half, FitzGerald especially. Just retreated in the second, and it was just a question of whether we would concede one or more. Could have used some kind of result after the week that was, but we're just not good enough.

Another bad result for Galway. Somehow, still in with a chance of playoffs though.

I think any of the teams chasing promotion will be good enough to beat Limerick.

Limerick hustled us out of it in the first half and we were awful, for the first half hour especially. We had more urgency in the second half and it told. Huge relief to get the win, finally. Don't know about the offside, couldn't tell from where I was sitting. Looked a penalty to me on Killian Brennan in the first half, possibly even more so than the one that was given on Conan. Need to see them again on tv though.

Lee Desmond was outstanding tonight for Pats, becoming a real leader in the team. Conor Clifford was poor I though, as were Ryan Brennan and Dean Clarke. I thought the wrong Brennan came off at half time.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
