    Accomodation in Limerick

    Well Lads,

The brother is after getting a job in Limerick but is currently living in London so he has a week to find something around Raheen but hasnt a clue where to start looking.

Any good advice on where he should be looking look...websites, papers, areas to avoid etc etc

Try and get your hands on a copy of the Evening Echo and the Limerick Post. There's usually a lot of accomodation out that way so it shouldn't be a huge problem really. Good luck to him!

All I can stay is that I hope he lived in South London when he was there. Somewhere like Brixten, Lewisham or Catford. He may need time to acclimatise in a place like that, but nothing will prepare him for Stab City.

Are you looking for a new place $Leon$? Would be hard to imagine you on the southside. You've got an emotional attachment to Kilmacud.

Sorry $Leon$, forgot that Kilmacud is "south" of the Liffey, bit like Tallaght. Just remember that just because you can pick up the 'Southside People' in your local shop does not make you a Southsider.

The Limerick Evening Echo is no longer in circulation, you should tell your brother to check the Limerick Post which also has a website www.limerickpost.ie and the Limerick Leader. Those two papers are the best when searching for accomodation. Also tell your brother to ignore ignorant comments such as this...
    Stab City.
Limerick isn't as bad as some people and media would like to make out.
Limerick 37, its so shiny and new we dare not take the cover off.

Straight back at you. No doubt we'll need it! Dunno if Can't Pass O'Brien will provide the cutting edge required up front!
