A fair point I suppose. But I will continue to buy the UCD programme even though it is crap as I want to give that bit extra to the club. I imagine you'd pay 3 Euro for a Bohs quality programme if it were for Cork even though you may resent it a bit simply to get money into the club. I guess it will depend on the commitment of the fan. I don't know about eL clubs but look at EPL clubs and indeed clubs in the other top leagues, their jersies are made for pittens under slave labour with an immense mark up and many fans who know continue to buy them to show their support and put money into the club in spite of this.

I collect programmes, so I'll always buy one anyway, but for your casual fan, if the programme is just full of ads and rubbish like a one page interview with the mascot and a selection of "funny" quotes from commentators etc., its very off-putting.
