Bobby Byrne in Terryland return horror !

Bobby Byrne, possibly the worst player ever, ever, to play for Galway United, by a long way, is set to return to Terryland Park.

OK, calm down at the back, Lal hasn't gone mad.

Hibs have been drawn against Mount Merrrion YMCA in the first round of the FAI Senior Cup, and of course there is a 50/50 chance that the game may be in the T'bowl. Mount Merrion are managed by former United manager Dave Connell. Dave was renowned for giving his friends a run in games, and true to form, his old buddies Bobby "Rabbit in the headlights" Byrne and Sean "In the background" Byrne are playing for him at Mount Merrion.
(Note : for some of our younger supporters, these players are amongst the worst two ever to play for our great club).

A host of LOI golden oldies are also playing for them, notably Howie "Movie Star" King and Donal "Tough but Fair" Broughan. A difficult draw for Hibs.
