    Welcome to foot.ie!

Nice to see all the new members for Sligo Rovers on here-Red Arrow, Shed head, beatmasterbody, Da Real Rover, WestBelfastRed, Donegal Red. If I've missed anyone then sorry. Hope to see ye all posting a lot of stuff here. The more Bit O' Red fans on here the better

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

    Smile

thanks sligo man for welcome. good to see keen interest in discussion about rovers in general. i believe dublin city were missing 6 regulars on sat night so a firece contest is anticipated on thurs. keely will have his players well tuned and very physical. some times i think it would be no harm for genuine supportes to let s. connors know how kelly likes to play the game. usually goes for early goal and ultra cautious after that. i remember when we had him as manager in early 90s we either won our games by 1 nil or two one, but conceeding very few goals. i still think we have one player to unhinge most defences in the 1st divison namely FAZTASTIC. i know i keep goin on about him but its a long time since we had a player of his quality. he will be very closely marked on thur.

    Good Team

Thanks Sligoman for the welcome. I'd have to agree with Red Arrow that FAZ is a cut above the rest. But lets not forget about Rafa as he is quality player. 2 premier division teams supposadley tried to sign him during the break. And Mc Cartney is a good prospect for the future, if he was harder to knock off the ball he would be playin for Shels. When i played against him when he was at Merville you could tell that he was a quality player back then even.
