If I'd known Jack Dee was on I'd have done the same.

McCue was awful, didn't know what he was doing, not cut out for TV. They, as ever, didn't cover all the games (Whats the fookin point of a highlights show that doesn't show highlights?) and couldn't even get the small amount of clips they had right.

The FAI told TV3 they had to do this show as part of getting the rights for the Irish matches on delayed coverage, if we had any kind of a decent association on this island they wouldn't stand by and let TV3 get away with this sub standard production shown at crazy hours, but we don't, so they'll continue to get away with it.

If you cut out Harry's nervous "eh's" he was one of the better pannelists. He actually knows what he's talking about and looks beyond Shels when he's talking. Once he gets used to the camera and lights he'll be quite good. And so what if Trev said that there was only 1 Dublin darby on over the weekend, its true!

It wasnt too bad, even Kinger had a football tie on!
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

TBH ... i thought Harry gave far more info in any one comment than Kinger gave in the whole show.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

My problem with the Dublin derbies is that there can only ever be two anyway, but TV3 would prefer if there were six of them every week so that they wouldn't have to pretend they knew anything about the provincial teams.

Harry does know his stuff, but it was torture to watch him shifting about like a Dickensian criminal. That's the producers fault though for not prepping him.

I really think people are making a really big issue of this ..... way over the top in fairness i know he wasn't prepped and polished but it was his first appearance ffs.

I can remember one of the first interviews i saw Pat Fenlon giving and the guy seemed to be rattling ..... now he's ... well ... hes Pat Fenlon and i dont think anyone one in the league would have it any other way. maybe that was a bad choice of example but you know what i mean

Give the guy a break .... its not like the league has an abundance of people all sized up for tv land ..... when the guy gets his bearings it'll be far better having some knowing what they are on about than someone like Shoddy Roddy !!

Your on form this weather Bluemovie, quality posts!

I especailly liked the:

'And poor Harry is just not made for TV even that long after the watershed'

and

'Did Harry The Ghoul have to get home before the sun came up'

Stop I can't take much more...your killing me...
A man is never really poor,
if he can still laugh.

as bad as he was at least he acknowledged we were an el club as id say its the first time we have been mentioned all season.they havent shown any of us since the start of the season and no doubt they will have tomoros game in flancare on cause its shels we are playing.absolute rubbish why may i ask do we need to see the goals three times where is the fans forum thing at the end of the show goal of the month etc.that was actually worth watching instead we must listen to king talking **** out him.i can safely say he knows nothing about soccer.he says the same every week how brilliant shels are how harps will struggle how drogs have the money so they should challenges etc
