So where will we finish...?

First round of matches almost over...most important of all in that being our own game. So where are we going to finish?

I've had us down for 7th/8th, but after seeing Bohs and Rovers tonight, and after seeing how well we defended against Shels on Wednesday while missing our two most experienced players (both defensive), I reckon we can sneak a top half finish if we keep clear of injuries. We could be one to watch in the cups too...!

Put some money on us winning the F.A.I. Cup, 21 years on it is time we won it again

We might be a good outside bet for a top 4 or top 5 finish... injuries permitting.

P.S. doubt Cork will

win the League this season. Rico has never won one as player or manager!

Very hard to say (even harder for me as I never saw the Shels game

). I reckon it's gonna take about 4 games in before we get a real estimate. So far we have gotten off to a reasonably alright start. The Drogs game is a really vital one. If we can carry the momentum of the Shels game into it (plus a little something else for Doolo

) then we could shake off the bad Premier start monkey from our backs of the last few years. I reckon though talk of European qualification is too much. I know we pulled it off a little while back but I can't see it happening this year. That said I'll be gladly proved wrong.
