Henry to Miss Both French Games?

LONDON, March 18 (National Team) - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is adamant
that striker Thierry Henry will be unable to play any part for France in their
    forthcoming World Cup qualifying double-header.
The 27-year-old had been tipped to make a rapid return from a calf injury he
sustained in the Champions League game with Bayern Munich at Highbury just over
a week ago, and was named in the France squad on Wednesday.
But Wenger insists he is some way off returning to full fitness and can only
be considered a long shot to feature next week.
``Thierry is injured,'' said Wenger. ``He hasn't been on the training pitch
all week because he has been receiving treatment.
``He has to join up with the France squad as that's the rules but I don't
think he will be capable of playing for them at all.''
Les Bleus play Switzerland at Troyes on Saturday March 26, before travelling
to take on Israel on Wednesday March 30, hoping to break clear of their hosts
and the Republic of Ireland at the top of Group 4.

Given his form for France that could be an advantage for them.

    Definitely agree.

2 draws in their next 2 games and it really leaves us in a superb position.

I didn't realise that they weren't playing Switzerland in paris.

This group could well have a very different look about it in 2 weeks time alright.

Why did Carr go off on Weds? Just one more game for everyone to stay injury free.

I still fancy the French to beat the Swiss and beat them well.

Reckon Carr just came off to give the lad Rammage his debut seeing as the tie was safe.

will have everything crossed watching the footie this weekend
