as for rounding up- "real"rover, i find the idea of sligo getting 2000 at games unlikely.its one thing rounding a 1200 crowd to 1300, but dont jump from 1200 to 2000

Interestingly Sky Sports gave the attendance of tonights U21 game as 6,100 which they said was a "full house"

Could shed not very packed (easily get another 500 in there) & good few empty seats around.

I seen the shed on the TV tonight .. easily get another 500 in there?? I think you may get them in but not easily!

It would be interesting actually find out how many the shed has for each game. I think a lot of the cork posts who have wrong figures mess up by overestimating the shed

I think Sky were just giving the capacity of the ground as the attendance because they stressed the "full house" aspect, and the roundness of the figure would seem to back this assumption up.

They quoted 6,100 as the attendence.

I reckon they found out this was the capacity and listed it, as this was a "full house".

This would explain why the Shels crowd was in the 5,000s but looked full.

Well that means there was over 1,600 empty places at the Shels match - and it didn't look that many on the TV to be honest.

If the capacity is 7,000, then Cork's attendances should be investigated, as the only reason why I can see a club would want to under report their attendances is for tax evasion reasons.

And people talk about Shels and "biscuits tins"

However, I think the likelihood that Cork fans are overestimating the capacity of their ground seems a more likely reality.

Bout 425 at the Limerick galway game. Game could have been called off due to some waterlogging as it rained heavily in Limerick all day.

First few rows in block d where I was and E were empty as seats were wet so I'd say 1000 in stand and 100 around ground.I'll let Pineapple Stu decide .Maybe split the figures?
