That'd be about right. About 900 I would have saidOriginally Posted by Dr.Nightdub

Reckon about 550-600 at Cobh Ramblers/Sligo

So we got around 500 lower than our average attendence from the same figures according to you?Originally Posted by bohs til i die
Yeah, sure.
Its great the way the Bohs fans are quick to pat themselves on the back when their average attendence is actually lower then our own!
some of you say there was over 2000 of youyou managed 1200 and 1100 in your last two HOME games and I know you all have a love of Shels but i think over 2000 is a lie.

Ok, Higgins, lets do a break down.
We filled under the cover in the Riverside, from front row to back, maybe about 1500-1700. Agreed?
We had more outside the cover, and a good few in the Ballybough end, say 250. Agreed?
Shels did NOT fill the Lego stand, there was 650-700 in there. Agreed?
The Main stand was half full, maybe 900 there. Agreed?
Attendance was given at 3300/3400. Do the maths yourself.
Now lets look at the reality. We played UCD and Bray in our last two home games. We had similar numbers in Tolka compared to what we had at home to Shels, Rovers and Ghent at home. There is a trend there. Poor season, hardcore for lesser games, but better numbers for bigger games like derbies and Europe.
For the record, how many did you think were at the game on Friday? I thought 3500, so wasn’t too far wrong.
Now lets look at the reality...
they are you words!
We are at the end point of the 2nd series of games (think you have pats at home to come?) So we have nearly played everyone at home once?
Bohs average 1970
Shels average 2031
I dont think you had over 2000 at the game and thats what i said. OK you had more then any other team apart from Linfield and maybe Glentoran but over 2000 would put the shels crowd at 1300.
What you are doing and what other do is just being CHILDISH. How long more do we have to put up with the 'we got more then you' nonsense. You had a big crowd, get over it!! over 2000 is not correct thats all I'll say.

if your average attendance is over 2000, how come you managed to bring a whole 704 to Dalymount?
I never claimed we had over 2000, i said we had close to 2000, with 1900 or so being fairly close to 2000.
For the record, our average home attendance this season is 2102.
That is simply not true - I was in the main stand and there it was still quite gappy in the Bohs section, even under the cover.Originally Posted by bohs til i die
When you are in the actual stand it can seem like there is more there than there actually is, sure the main stand seemed 3/4 or more full to me and yet you are telling me it was only half full.
Don't think either club have much room to gloat, still a pretty s*ite crowd when all is said and done, I mean there was over a thousend people more at Wycombe vs Bury last weekend for god sake!
This thread only takes league games into account, our average would be considerable higher if not due to the champions league.
This numbers game is typically pathetic, but we didn't suddenly lose 700 off the regular home gate for the visit of the feeder club.
well you managed to loss two thirds of your support for that long trip to Phibsboro in May.Originally Posted by Slash/ED
Indeed we did, a pathetic turnout there is no doubt whatsoeverOriginally Posted by bohs til i die
ballybough end looked like 100 (and its often a mix of home and away fans), not 250, from tv pictures on el weekly

I'll guesstimate 2,200 for the Derry v Bray game in the absence of a better figure.
Fair enough, cheers. Updated the list. Maribor's looking into an official attendance in the meantime.
