In a nutshell are the average attendences up or down for each division in comparison with the last season that ran from Autumn to Spring?

Yeah official attendance 1751 for rovers v. pats.

btw, the league marketing director recieves attendances from every club as part of the licence requirement. dunno if its for public use or not.

Its a small step but the league has to get attendance figures. How else can it tell if the league doing better...?

    Bray 1795 (818)
    Cork 3684 (4033)
    Derry 2500 (1672) (missing Bray)
    Drogheda 1762 (1554)
    Harps 1500 (1106)
    Longford 1232 (1131)
    Pat's 1674 (1882)
    Rovers 1880 (1466) (missing Drogheda)
    Shels 2012 (2158) (missing Drogheda)
    UCD 723 (306)
    Waterford 1250 (1753) (missing Derry)

    FIRST
    Athlone 358 (291)
    Cobh 360 (240)
    Dublin City 184 (592)
    Dundalk 256 (591) (missing Kilkenny)
    Galway 639 (571)
Kildare 227 (298) (missing Cobh (2), Dundalk, Kilkenny and Monaghan (2))
Kilkenny 138 (110) (missing Athlone, Dublin City (2), Dundalk and Kildare)
    Limerick 764 (188)
Monaghan 175 (182) (missing Cobh and Kildare)
    Sligo 1559 (781)

    Premier Division - 1836 (1863)
    First Division - 509 (512)
    Overall average - 1235 (1224)

    Weekend matches missing -
    Derry v. Bray
    Shels v. Drogheda
    Kildare v. Monaghan

Interesting to note that, even though the average attendance for both divisions is down, the overall average is up slightly due to more teams in the Premier Division.

I PMed Fintan but he didn't get an offical attendence for the Drogheda game but guesstimated around 2,200 which I'd go along with.

If this was the second game in Kilkenny, i would guess at about 200 / 250. A decent crowd considering neither side have huge support.
