It is for you. For us, it's a Dublin derby. I'm purely distinguishing between games where there are usually 100 away fans and games where there usually 500 away fans. A few years ago, we were regularly getting 1200 at those games and 300 at the others; now it's more like 1000 and 500. I think our home support is up, but there's fewer away fans going to the all-Dublin games (if that's better by you!), so our average attendace overall is staying about the same.

ye're last two home games attracted an average of 500. I'd be very concerned about the future of the club. And for the record it gives me no pleasure to say that. Blues are my 2nd favourite teamOriginally Posted by trevy

Well if you consider how bad our Dublin neighbours are doing badly for the main part it makes sense. Pat's and Rovers have been awful this season and not so great in the last. Bohs basically only stopped doing bad this season when they met us at Belfield. The only Dublin club doing reasonably well is Shels who are the probably the smallest supported of the big 4 and even they met us during their bad spell. Rovers and Bohs still brought good crowds and Shels and Pat's weren't that bad.Originally Posted by pineapple stu

Charlie Stuart in The Star reckoned there were 1,100 at Belfield Park.Originally Posted by pineapple stu

Did you get a figure from the rovers game last night ?
It looked very bad on the TV
Bit of a worry seeing as both Shels and Bohs were not playing.
Crowds seem to be going down all over. Hopefully Europe brings some new faces through the gate

guessing about 800 at Finn Park tonight - 150- 200 of us and noisier for most of the game too
Thats a desperate crowd for Harps, only 600 of them.Originally Posted by sonofstan

Fair enough. Harps forum mentioned it was a poor crowd as well, so that seems reasonable. Wonder where the other 3,500 are gone from the title game?Originally Posted by sonofstan

UCD versus anyone in Dublin isn't a derby game to them. Thats why I love when we beat them. Was still very dissapointed with the Pats turnout on Friday though.Originally Posted by Dr.Nightdub

Reckon that there was 350 for Cobh v Galway, also reliably informed that the crowd for Dundalk v Cobh was around 180 -200.
''and I for one welcome our new insect overlords''
About 200 for Monaghan United v Dundalk.
Worst crowd for that fixture in years.
Drogs v Cork was around 1,700. And you should change Drogs v Bray. No way was there 2,000. More like 1,200!
Dundalk fans making too many trips there I suppose.Originally Posted by monutdfc

il estimate 1192at Rovers v derry. the space at the singing section was well filled for the most part. the other half of the stand was poorly filled
not a bad crowd though all things considered
