It would'nt be to far off if not more than 3000, the seated "stand" holds 2500, and that was nearly full, and there was at least 1000 standing in all other parts of the ground.

The media have a tendency to underestimate. I remember a game against Limerick with UCD at Belfield near the end of the season and the guy on the radio said 50 people were in attendence when there were easily 100 and I reckon 150 at it.

Harps attendance thread on their forum - they've come up with 2,600 for the Cork game. Have updated the averages for this.

    In their new stand !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    So ...

There was 1490 people packed tightly together into the "new" stand, with ten other people in the other three parts of the ground, as seen on TV3. Indeed.

    And I'm Larry Wyse.

    Angry

Why are some people finding so hard to believe that there was 1500 at our game most people watched the game from the new stand which holds 2000. Which was nearly full. At our first home game last season we had1200

In fairness to Sligo their biggest and best stand is the one under the camera and 1,500 and more could easily be fit in there.

I'm guessing 6500 were at the Cork-Bray game. I'm not sure how accurate my guess is but there were a lot of people there for a Bray game (although it was the first home game of the season). Shed full, Donnie Ford & Derrynane 90% full, St.Annes 60% full.

It was practically full aswell! Id say 7000 would be a lot more accurate!

Will put Cork-Bray in as 6500 so. Nice to see Pat's announcing official attendances too - another club for the list! 738 was the counted attendance at UCD-Drogheda, though according to the club, it was nearer 900. Still, will put it in as the lower figure.
