Just looking at that game on eL Weekly - the Jodi looked about 2/3rds empty, the Des Kelly and (obviously) the Shopping Centre ends were empty and though you couldn't see the Connaught Street side, if it had only away fans as is usually the case, you're looking at about 1000 in total for that game?

No idea how The Star came up with 3,250 at the Carlisle!

there was a fair crowd of us in Bray but 3250 total? maybe the pitch invasion was due to overcrowding

I've heard 3000 being bandied about some people. Wasn't at it so couldn't tell ye how true that is.

Something as fundamental as attendances should be made public by regulation. Is there a requirement for this in club licensing ? Dont think sligo rovers have ever released an official attendance. Simple things as this should not cause this level of debate. It reflects on the clubs, that this thread is gone to 22 pages over a length of time. All clubs have to do is count and release their figure to the public domain. Amazing how something as standard as this can be left so open to scrutiny. Professional teams in england have an official figure by the end of the game. If clubs in the eircom league want themselves, the league and soccer in this country to be seen as professional, they have to start acting like it. As for the national media their attendances will always been wrong. esp in 1st division which isnt covered. cept for 4 lines taken off a website somewhere.

Wonder what the tax man would make of some of these figures been bandied about if he seen em

Clubs seem to be gradually coming around to making figures public.

Shels & Bohs have started. Cork City will start from friday.

I think clubs have been to cautious about releasing figures but they seem to figured out that means of providing info to fans now.

Yeah, looked emptier on TV than I'd thought at the game. The shed and Connaught St bits were empty BTW.

The first shot of the Jodi was early on in the game and it was empty but later on it seemed more full but still 1500 is the max from looking on TV... What have the Bohs lads said it was?

hate to say it as theyre low figures, but i believe the crowd for Rovers v bray was 1100, and Rovers v waterford was bout 1300-according to a 400 club trustee
the crowds look ok when youre actually in the jodi but watching on tv they seem terrible

Eh?! You don't want to be any more exact on your guesstimates at all?

Does that include those on the pitch or just in the designated areas?

737 for Limerick v. Athlone according to the thread on their forum here.

Taking a guess about 3,200 or so. But we will have the official figure tomorrow.
