I expect to hear of Murphy's resignation first thing tomorrow.

The only thing is: With the Board we have at the moment, his replacement will be "one of the lads", ie. Caulfield, Daly or Freyne. We may aswell have Mickey Mouse and Donald ****in Duck......

Ruining our club, the *******s are ruining our club.....

    No difference

I did not vote for Murphy to go. I dont think he's doing fine but the Board that we have will only appoint Patsy or Johnny C or Decie or perhaps even Dave Barry again.

Murphy is the best out of a bad bunch that the borad will appoint.
    Oh no not them again

It's a good point, BUT, if the Board don't get it right the next time.... They will be the ones who have to go.

Aside: What was Seamus Garvey doing in the Shed today? Sussing out the feeling of the crowd? Picking out the 'Murphy out' crowd so that they could be assassinated? Trying to pick a few pockets? I don't know......

If Murphy goes, who will replace him? He is not doing a good job at the moment, but how many people want the job, and are capable of improving things? It is easy to say "anything would be better than this", but where is the managerial talent? Ollie needs to be signed up, and a couple of new players brought in, but is the money there? Would a new manager be given a free hand to do what he wanted? How many people will want to come to this club after the way Mountfield was treated? Get rid of Murphy by all means, but only if the replacement is an improvement and is given a proper chance....................

Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

so u think the club is going down the pan do you dalo
about time you took the wool from your eyes,

got to agree with neil, dalo your fighting a one-man campaign to save Liam Murphy's job and the only way its going to work is you are a CCFC board member...cause dalo not many others agree with you..

Jasus lads', If the team could show as much aggression on the pitch, as is here in the forum, we'd be on for the treble....!!.....

this murphy out has nothing to do with boo-ing players for me

it has to do with 2 things

1: Tactical fcuk up of which there have been numerous, from the 451 debacle to hartigan to his mismangement of loyal Cork City players, and the thing is, he doesnt seem to learn from them..which IMO is mere incompetance and ignorance

2: rudeness to fans...at the away euro tie in latvia, numerous other away league games, at U21 matches, all of which I have detailed b4. How hard is it to acknowledge a person, thats wishing you well!!

there is no escaping these facts dalo
the man is rude and incompetant and i dont want a man like that managing Cork City...and i really for the life of me dont see how you can get that..

Why should Cork City accept a 3rd rate manager...we deserve better...we deserve the best...have pride in your city dalo...set yourself higher standards then mere midtable mediocracy, or simply finishing up after $hels, bohs and pats every year, which by your postings you would seem to be happy with

I want, as most fans do, the best for my City, my club and my county, I dont accept second best or even 3rd best (gunther)..

THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW FRIENDS

Liam Murphy's position has to be untenable now that we have lost to one of the worst teams in the league

For the sake of the good reputation and the proud history of sporting excellance in Cork City and County he must step down now..

He has brought shame on Cork CIty Football Club

We lost to Rockmount on penilties during Dave Barry's last season and nobody said "bo" (so to speak).

I think that the match (even though I wasnt there) showed how much we rely on O'Grady. Thank God he will be back on Sunday.

How many people will be at the game?

BTW I thought that I was having the one-man war James?
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
