You are barred from Belfield for life after that comment.Originally Posted by pineapple stu

In my ten years of going to Belfield two players have fitted the bill. The first was Andy Myler, for being a clunky, awkward, lazy, and usually not very good, striker. Yes I know he's done better since.
He was clearly surpassed though by Mick O'Donnell. John83 referred to him as playing only a couple of positions. I have seen him play in every outfield position for UCD.
Finally there's one who just misses out. Eamon McLaughlin. A left back who is the all-time undisputed hardcore champion of Belfield. So many tackles that were really ABH. Not quite animated enough to fit the bill.

For me it's either Kevin Mc Hugh fiercely loyal to the club![]()
Or Minno some of the tackles I've seen him launch into would make Tommy Smith grimace not for the faint hearted.
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
yeah hes a good choice, but pale in comparasin to the great 'zac' Hackett a true local legend from the dark ages when no one gave a **** bout ltfc, the man practically carried us singlehandedly for a few years.Originally Posted by Wiseguy

Declan "Fabio" O'Brien for the modern generation of drogs for the older drogs i wudnt have a clue
Jaysus that's a blast from the past. Think he only played one game for us in the end. 3-1 home defeat to Galway if I remember correctly.Originally Posted by aido_b
We had a good few players around that era who only played a couple of games. People like Elvis Plantak, Austin Huggins, Michael Crawford, etc........
