If they have Neil Doyle reffing their matches they will have every chance of challenging Cork for second place.

If there are expectations to challenge for the title, where are they coming from? Logic would indicate that it would come from Rovers supporters. Apparently from 'outside' according to Bradser after Rovers scrapped to a controversial 1-0 win over Sligo:

Lose next week away to Dundalk, could mean both Derry and St Pats breathing down their neck for 4th place and any journo questions could well have a very different slant
Lol The perfect day for you to continue your weird obsession with his every spoken word.....then again the other 364 work for you as well you must love an aul leap year. Btw "logic" would dictate that as he didn't define what he meant by outside it could mean anything or anybody , media , rival managers, other teams fans and like all fans rovers fans live in hope as well.

Its fairly clear that he is trying to lower expectations of Rovers fans.

Losing in Oriel Park next week will achieve that, while a win by either St Pats or Derry will up the pressure in the contest for 4th place.

Internet sensation as manager seaks to take pressure off team. Yawn although I know a guy who if Bradley said we are going to challenge or win the league would ridicule him for putting pressure on the team.....

You might be surprised to hear there's actually a third option.

There are lots of options but we know the outcome of them all. Have to compliment the club on the 1899 bar at the weekend it is becoming great Craic. It is open for the longford match on Monday and I'd say all would be welcome for any traveling longford fans. Open from 6pm

That was a definite peno for Bohs second half, and I've no idea how that goalmouth scramble didn't go in.
He was with Liverpool last year under 23 player of the year.
Being paid 3 k a week by Dundalk.Probably Bohs entire weekly wage.

He's on loan so Liverpool are paying his wages not Dundalk and if part of the agreement that Dundalk pick up part of his weekly wage they will not be paying anywhere that much.

Jesus lads, he left Liverpool four years ago. The amount of experts in this league who know everything about every club is astounding.

There's an impressive amount of nonsense above. He's not on loan from Liverpool, he's on loan from a Seria B side. He hasn't played for Liverpool for years. Where do people get this rubbish? And where is the critical thinking?!

I'm sure he's on a decent salary, but 3k is laughable.

Yes it's inside the stadium. Its normally for members and season ticket holders but for games where a big crowd isn't expected they open for all. You could call the club in the morningv to check. Worst case the Malden is across the road.

3k a week indeed, april fool alive and well, but on a more serious note, I wonder who is the best paid player in the PD and how much he is on this season. I think wages seem to have been more modest in recent season though, and there is no stand out star like Towell, Horgan or Maguire, but I think Dundalk offered McEleney 2k a week to stay, and I'd say Vemmelund wouldn't have been too far behind, but not that much maybe.

I'd possibly say Finn might be out there as one of the best paid at the minute?

Stephen McGuinness said it's about 1200 at the top end, but maybe some of the players who've come in from abroad are on a little more.

2k is huge. We have a 25% increase in wage budget this year, but I imagine the majority if not all of that is to cover the change to 52 week contracts.

Sean Gannon is the highest paid player in the league, followed closely by baldy Sheppard at cork.

I doubt Shep is even the highest paid player in Cork, let alone the second highest in the league. The vast majority of this speculation is people talking through their asses

Never mind this highest paid player stuff, what about the physios? Darren Dillon is the highest paid in the league - FACT. I'm not sure if he gets fines for red cards
