Not sure about it being rewritten as Vindaloo, weren't they both for France '98? AFAIK it's based on "My Darling Clementine", only speeded up a bit. yes glap that's the one. I know the fench (only when they win mind! and win well) play the last 2 mins of this song to get their crowd going - and it works as far as atmosphere's concernded.
Don't think it should be used as the entrance theme, just don't think its suited.. would be class to play it after every time we score..

Not the entrance theme, but one of the main warm ups. I'll never forget Amsterdam when they played it about 15 mins before kick-off. The whole crowd was hopping. Obviously it helps to have an ultra modern stadium with a fantastic sound system but even still it was great. That said, I'd had about 8 pints and quite a bit of Amsterdam's finest and by and large life was just wonderful
