    Ticket prices for 2018

There may be a thread on this already but does anyone have the ticket prices for each club this season?

I was at Drogheda v Athlone last weekend and they had kept their Premier Division prices.

€20 for the stand and €15 for the terrace for adults.

€12 in to UCD which is the only other ground I’ve been to.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

€15 into Tolka tonight. €10 in Longford.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I always thought it was 15quid in the top flight and 10 quid for the first .scandalous price for tolka park.

Good stuff from Limerick there in relation to their pricing strategy. I go down there for a few games per season in recent years and this will encourage me to do the same this season. The price elasticity of demand for going to watch Shelbourne must be less than 1 (i.e. inelastic) for them to be charging 15 euro into Tolka. I doubt this is true.

Wait til ye go up to Drogheda and you can pay €20 in to the stand!

i thought Limerick's stand was actually €20 but it seems it's €18. Does that mean Drogheda is the most expensive stand in the league?

What is it in to the stand in Oriel?

I thought the Division 1 standard was €12 now but I guess it's up to each club.

18 euro into Limericks away end stand. Shocking. Too expensive for our league imo.

Was always €15 into our stand. New price structure has come in to push people into pre-purchasing online.

A lot down here not happy with it but I’ve €6 extra in my pocket so far his season. €12, €12 and €15 for the 3 homegames in the stand.

Yeah, not a bad deal at all for home fans. Online option not available to away fans though.

Wasn’t sure what the story was there. Cork were given an allocation of tickets during the week for the stand. Were they €18?

AFAIK it is a requirement for tickets to be available at the same price to away fans as what home fans can buy for.

This does not appear to be the case here. At a minimum visiting clubs should raise this with Limerick and/or the FAI and clarify for their supporters.

Is there any obvious reason why Cork fans were obliged to pay €18 and could not buy online for €15?

I agree, Away fans should be €15 if they buy early and €18 if it’s on the night.

actually when I think of it JC I remember in the mid noughties I refused to go into the stand there as it was way too expensive. The price I reckon back then was the exact same! good call btw!

I used to much prefer the away terrace in United Park if we had any kind of numbers, the low roof used to help create a great noise. I only went into the stand once or twice. The cup semi final replay up there in ‘04 will always be a special night. As was the ‘0-5 in the O2 Park’ night.

No you don’t - if you always spent €15, and are still spending €15, then you haven’t saved any money.
I hate that clubs and franchises do this ‘punishment’ pricing - Connacht Rubgy introduced a higher ticket price on match day a few seasons ago, and I haven’t been to a game since with my kids. When you have a young family, you can’t always pre-plan for a game, and punishing ‘walk-ups’ just turns people away.
