Decent crowd from up from Bohs on Friday and not just in numbers, this was the biggest by far away support this season. I got chatting to a good few at half time, another advantage of paying the extra fiver to the stand as away fans get access to the much better bar on that level.
They certainly enjoyed their visit to the Fane bar in the town centre they were telling me, top behaviour I'm told and were quick to point out comparisons to their city 'cousins' who were in town last summer !
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Looked a lot more than 2700 in Brandywell, I would have thought 3,200 or so. Both stands looked to be fairly full from looking at highlights. Although Derry fans would have a better idea, knowing the capacity of both stands etc
and not a single thing said about away sections, portaloos, or lack of crisps!
Waterford have released a small number of standing tickets for City fans for tomorrows game:

I assume that means on the running track in front of the away fans, or behind the goal. Assuming the game goes ahead we should have a very respectable away support.
3,684 tonight at the RSC for the Munster Derby.
3056 Dundalk v Shams.
More at the RSC than Oriel?
I tried to edit but this poxy website goes berserk when I try to do that.
Munster derby that has been missing for years with the novelty especially for Waterford fans and with the chance to go top of the league. Hardly that surprising!
