Was down collecting my season ticket this evening. Excitement is building. Really looking forward to tomorrow. Think we'll put it up to Cork.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Always a tough game up there. The 3-0 win in 2009 is the only comfortable one I can think of. Looking forward to this now though, hoping to see a good performance and a win to start off

Waterford asking for volunteers to help get surface water off the pitch so the game can go ahead!
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Is it Ethan Boyle or Eth - an Boyle? George Hamilton is going with the latter.

In fairness, Hamilton is well known for researching names and pronunciation.

Elsewhere, Cork go top of the league; Pats going down.

Barry McNamee scores for City early on after some good interplay between Shep and Cummins, back post side foot finish from a Cummins cross.

Apparently all Pats though.... and its two nil. Cummins! We've only had two chances.

Eth-an is such a bizarre pronunciation though that I'd assumed he must be correct. Bohs look very poor at the back.

Cummins sent off for either an elbow while contesting a header. Either innoncuous or criminal depending on who you support. Hes making quite the impact on his return

2-1 City. Pats score from a corner. Poor goal to give away. Game on here.

The Jodi stand looks great when it's full. Poor enough game so far, but a nice goal from Finn. In the Graveyard, it's 0-0 between Shels and Galway, with as little action in Tolka as there is in Dalymount by the sounds of things. It's a miserable night weather wise in Dublin, which definitely isn't helping the football.

ETHan gets a yellow. Where is Hamilton getting that? Never heard anybody with that name having it pronounced that way.

Brian Kerr calling Robert Cornwall as CornWELL is worse. As has been previously said, to be fair to George, he's usually been good at correct pronunciation when it comes to players.
