18 year old who moved from Finn Harps to Doncaster in January has traveled with the Doncaster first team squad today, and reckons he could be in the 18 man match squad.

Traveled with the squad and done the warmup with them. Still a decent indication of how highly he's rated there.

    Thread for him alright.

He was sent on loan to Tamworth in August for six months and recalled after just four weeks.

He was given the option of sticking with the Doncaster under-23s or going out on loan and he chose to go out on loan. Done well in a couple of games at Tamworth supposedly, but ultimately, the standard was brutal. Southern League Premier, three levels below League Two.

Lad is a cracking player with a great attitude. Hopefully he can kick on from here.

And MON says we “don’t have the players”.

Strange how the standard in the Southern Premier was "brutal" so he's been sent to the Northern one. Is it much better?

From looking at Wikipedia, there's a 19 year old lad in the Doncaster first team squad called Cody Prior. Appears to be from Kilkenny and signed a pro contract during the summer. Has appeared in the football league trophy this season. Hadn't heard of him at all.

Neither would be termed sexy football, Ole Ole, from what I have seen.

Questioned it myself, turns out it was a lack of available options. Doesn't bode too well for him that really. He'd be better off returning home in January than playing that far down the English ladder.

Harps back in the top tier for a loan would be nice!

Personally think he should never have left. The best thing he's gained since leaving less than a year ago is about two stone in muscle.
