Hm. Is there a fear he's lost a crucial yard of pace with his injury I wonder?

I don't like seeing him shipped out after a long injury like that; could be that they don't see him as ready or reliably fit again yet. Hopefully he'll make them regret sending him out.
You can't spell failure without FAI
An assist as Sheffield United finally get their first points of the season. After coming third last year with 90 points, they sacked their manager. They signed 15 players, got rid of 11, and then appointed a new manager. He started with six defeats in a row, so they got rid of him and got the old guy back
There are some remarkably stupid people running football clubs.
West Ham just appointed the former manager of the only team they've beaten in the league this season
Sounds like Ogbene is in a tricky situation for the second half of the season, he has already played in the Championship for his parent club Ipswich and his loan club Sheffield United this season, but isn't in either clubs' plans for the second half of the season. Because he has already played for two clubs he can't play for another until next season, so he's kind of stuck not playing football unless either club changes their position on him.
Yeah, a few months in the MLS might be as good an option as is available for him this side of the summer. And I say that as someone who doesn't rate the MLS at all.
No, I don't post/engage on YBIG, I think it's a cesspit to be honest (with apologies to anyone here who posts on both forums!). The story I saw was from English football journalist Alan Nixon who, while he isn't always right (for instance he wrongly called Carsley to Ireland), he does seem to have strong contacts inside a lot of clubs in the north of England. So I'd be surprised if there wasn't some truth in it.

Fair enough - and I wasn’t saying you post there FWIW. I browse YBIG and your last two posts (the other one was about O’Shea going to Oxford) came quickly after something similar was posted there. I just noticed it. It’s not a big deal obviously, no different to any of us plucking rumours from the twittosphere!
Ah, fair enough, you can take it as given that nothing I post here would be taken from there! But I suppose it's understandable that if there's a news story relating to an Irish player or manager it would be posted on both forums, and possibly earlier on YBIG if it's a busier forum than foot (foot of course is more about quality than quantity!)
