They might broadcast the playoff final in Limerick, but that'd be it. Finn Park couldn't host a game with a big crowd.

"along with the television deal for the coming season in the next ten days."
That's the really interesting bit there
'Television deal', i.e. the same thing we get every year.

I can't see the FAI handing anything over to clubs in any 'new' TV deal as it's usually all swallowed up by what they allocate for the international side, then the payment the fai have to make to cover or fully fund soccer republic.
In an ideal situation every PD club should be getting a fair fee of a fixed sum (take your pick on the wishful thinking amount) then extras for those covered on live matches like maybe 5k, but this is all dreamland stuff, until the fai recognise that clubs should be paid anything at all compared to the current zero.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Is the League launch next week?
Usually around then when we hear about the tv deals and some amazing link-up with the likes of lidl or dealz. 12p off your shopping EVERY WEEK if you buy a season ticket from your club matches and combine it with the FAI international s/t.
