Munster Senior Cup Semi-Final:
Cork City vs Waterford United Saturday January 27th 2pm. Venue TBC
Technically not pre-season as its a competitive fixture, but always good to have this kind of game in the build up for the new season.
Notice a handful of pre-season fixture lists out so far.

Thurs 1st Feb: Sligo v Harps (Showgrounds)
Tuesday 6th Feb: Dundalk v Harps (Oriel Park)

in todays star it lists Bohs preseason fixtures. I only noticed it when it mentioned that we are playing Bohs in the AUL on the last day of the month.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Does anyone know when did teams start pre-season?
Any team started before new year?
Bray back this weekend, so 6th or 7th
I believe Harps are starting this morning.

Get off the m50 at the red cow. Head south out of city , go straight for about 2km and you come to the kingswood exit . Take that exit , when you come to the roundabout at the top take the 2nd exit and it's 50 yards on your left. Basically a five minute drive from the m50 red cow junction.
Sligo 4-1 up in their friendly today. Have Robbie Williams, Declan Brennan, and John Smith listed as trialists. Assume that's Williams ex-Limerick and Cork, Brennan ex-UCD and the only John Smith I can find who may be available is a lad who played with Stevenage this season, a 31 year old English midfielder.
