I hope we're not going to sign Williams tbh. Don't think he would add much except a few kilos. We are a bit threadbare in the defensive positions though I think.
John Smith may be just a generic name either as someone mentioned on our forum.
Can't recall anything about the ex UCD lad Brennan.

Not can I to be honest.

Is it this fella who was with us for a month in pre-season a couple of years ago?

That may be him alright. To be honest, my guess it may be him is actually off the Football Manager game, been playing it the past few days and his name popped up on it coincidentally.

I wonder what the thinking is behind rovers playing Longford in Roadstone in the morning then Cobh in Tallaght in the afternoon, surely if youre going to play two games in one day you play them in the same place

I'd say it's a combination of not wanting to play two games on the grass pitch in tallaght and afternoon underage games / academy sessions in roadstone.

It’s blatant disrespect is what is. You can shove your poxy friendly.

I know that Kingswood is the nearest Luas stop to it so I more than likely will go to get my kick of early morning footie which is abnormal for me. If you were getting off at Kingswood whats the best directions to it SGBAWA please?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

It's a 1.5 km walk from cheeverstown luas to roadstone. Get off at the luas and head for the naas road. You will see the grounds through the fence after about 1k. Easy peasy.

Just give us a sound thrashing and enjoy a pint in the bar at half time while you are at it

Your boys will get a hell of a beating.

For the avoidance of any doubt I don’t actually give a flying feck where or indeed who we play in pre season.

I'd imagine it'll be an underage Rovers team in Roadstone and a senior one in Tallaght, or at the very least a mix with two different squads.

    Declan Brennan is our physio.

Williams and Smith were fake names.

    Both are signing today.

    Harps, to date:
Tuesday 6th Feb: Dundalk v Harps (Oriel Park)
Dundalk have confirmed they are playing Brentford 'b' on Weds 7th Feb so i'd say the match v Harps is scratched
Also confirmed for Dundalk is the Jim Malone Cup match v Drogs on Saturday 27th Jan @ 5pm.
