99 per cent certain all Dublin stroke Dublin Area
In the process of trying to find out which FAI Junior Cup winners came from which county and have been stumped on a few.
- Richmond United - 1926/27, 1927/28. I think they're from Dublin.
- Whitehall United - 1975/76.
- Talbot United - 1971/72.
- Valley United - 1960/61.
- Grange United - 1955/56.
- Griffith Rangers - 1949/50.
- St. Paul’s - 1947/48.
- B&I – 1933/34. Their full name is the 'British and Irish Steam Packet Company', their is a Wikipedia page about them but doesn't list one specific location.
- Rossville - 1929/30.
- Brunswick - 1925/26.
- St. Mary’s United - 1924/25.
Edit: If I find any in the meantime I'll remove them.

I know we played Rossville ,Talbot Utd and B&I in our non league days so they are definitely dublin sides..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Richmond United, Rossville, Griffith Rangers, Valley United, St Pauls & B&ISP were all Dublin.
Brunswick almost certainly, and Talbot United too I think.
So many St Mary's teams down the years, can't identify that one except as winner 1924/5.
Well lads, thanks to your posts and a PM this is what I've narrowed it down to.
- Whitehall United - 1975/76. - One user guessed Dublin but that's the only lead I have.
- St. Paul’s - 1947/48. - Same user said Munster about St. Paul's and if he were to guess he said Cork, while littlebray said Dublin.
- St. Mary’s United - 1924/25. - Same lad who PMed me guessed Limerick for this.
St. Mary's Utd are pictured in the LFA 100 Years book as Junior Cup winners (they say 1927), so unlikely to be Limerick.

It also lists St. Paul's as Leinster Junior Cup winners in 47/48; just in a list though so no mention where they were from.

Thanks for that, narrows it down at least.
For what it's worth I have St Pauls v Shamrock Rovers in the Dublin section of the 1947/8 3rd Round draw (admittedly this is a partial record so far, but I think it's good). They were also listed in Dublin Saturday 1st Round (v Glasnevin) 1943/4, and in the Dublin-Louth Regional Competition 1942/43. In 1960/61, they were in Dublin Sunday - possibly a successor club?
BUT, there's also a St Pauls in the Cork section 49/50. So where does that leave us??
Since it's the 47/8 comp we're interested in the answer is Dublin, no matter when or where other St Pauls teams took part!
