What's the story with Sean Houston? I thought he was one of Harps best players last season.

Work related issues as far as I'm aware. He's supposedly not able to commit to any football for the next year or so. Would expect him to drop to intermediate for the year if he isn't being signed. Squad numbers to be released either this evening or tomorrow morning so will know for sure then I suppose.

John O'Flynn is apparently working part time with Cork City for the More than a club initiative so I'd imagine will not be training in Donegal, or only for a couple of days a week and will be in Cork the remainder.

Horgan and Caulfied are very close so would guess there's an arrangement whereby he'll be training at Cork and up for the weekend in Donegal. Harps usually train on a Sunday morning anyway so he'll probably take part in that before going back to Cork midweek.

It’s an Fai/Welsh FA project funded by the EU. Bohemains are the other Irish club piloting it with 2 welsh clubs

Ok, didn't know that at all, thought it was something Cork had come up with by themselves.

Any announcement of squads for Cabo, Wexford, UCD or Cobh? Some info out there for Cobh & Wexford but according to their websites they only have about 10 players signed up each, not a full squad.

Kind of disappointing from Cabo, if they are looking to looking push on on the field this year, then I'd have expected a bit more publicity off it

according to between the stripes podcast Dylan McGlade has resigned for us. Cant remember where he was previously but he emigrated.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Is Gary Shanahan a defender now? Always saw him has a winger. Hows he progressing?

You're right, he is a winger but Keegan has been using him as an attacking right back since pre-season to fill in for Colm Horgan, who left for Cork. Still not too sure if it will work.
    roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
