    Murphy & Paisley in Ireland squad for Israel

    Don Givens today, Monday 14th March 2005, announced a squad of 18 players for Ireland's upcoming U-21 European Championship game with Israel, 25th March 2005, Herzelia Stadium, Tel Aviv.

    The squad has a total of six changes from the squad which suffered a 2-0 defeat against Portugal in a friendly last month.

    Aidan McGeady of Celtic will gain his 5th U-21 Cap after his recent impressive appearances for Celtic and indeed the Irish Senior team.

    The two home based players in the squad include Stephen Paisley of Longford Town and Daryl Murphy of Waterford United.

    Also included in the current squad is Patrick Kohlmann the highly rated defender who plies his trade with Borussia Dortmund and Henry McStay of Leeds United.

    The squad will assemble in the Holiday Inn Hotel, Dublin Airport at 12.30pm, Tuesday 22nd March for the match with Israel, 25th March, Herzelia Stadium, Tel Aviv. Kick Off:15.00hrs (local time)

    Good to see him getting a look in again now he's fit, hope he gets a game.
