I agree with you there so I guess they must have had a reason to not offer him terms.

He wanted to leave. he started at pats, and once the tranmere deal fell through for him, he wanted to go back to pats. thanks and good luck

A decent prospect, but i think Rovers will survive his loss.

So Rovers post another lose for the year but can afford to turn down compensation?

Rovers didn't turn down compo why would anyone do that. They obviously decided not to do the necessary for a reason. I don't think any loi club would decide to forego compo.

If Bradley didn’t want to keep Doona then what would be the point in offering him a deal in the hope that he would then join someone else and then they get compensation. They could then have been stuck with a player they didn’t want if he didn’t move. Seems straight forward enough.

He wasn't offered a deal because he wanted to leave and the manager wasn't bothered to keep him. He had other options on the table so the club said good luck. I think he's a terrific player and we'll regret losing him, but that's life.

The Sun are suggesting that Kevin Toner may opt to sign for St Pats. They have already made some decent signings in Madden and Doona. They could yet prove to be Euro challengers

Fair enough, very amicable from Rovers in that case.

Didn't exactly make the most of his limited opportunities with Bohs.Remember him scoring in the friendly versus FC United , certainly good enough for first division.

That's a good move for a Ciaran O'Connor to Harps, hope he does well.

Cork fans, what is the reason behind Campion leaving the club while under contract for 2018 season, JC didn't appear to be too happy about it.

Its has been said on Orielweb that he was missing training and why he didnt finish the loan spell to season end. Is that a general consensus at Bohs?

He started the season very strongly at Harps but was very disappointing towards the end of his loan. He should be more than good enough to bag 10-15 goals in the First Division though.

He's just not good enough. He'd like to stay but JC needs to move him on really. Dunno what you mean by the JC not being happy about it?

Campion despite being a folk hero in Cork really isn't good enough.
JC is looking for a way to move him on so Campion is being encouraged to move in order to get regular playing time.

Hope so. I'm cautiously optimistic so far. We still need another centre half, and probably a striker at minimum, but we should at least be a whole lot better than last year.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

If they can get in a quality CB or two I'd fancy them to challenge for European places.
