Tobi Adebayo Rowling signs
Tobi Adebayo-Rowling promoted from Cork City reserves to Cork City. I'm kidding but we do sign a stupidly high amount of players from Sligo. Is he any good Sligo fans?
Are Sligo due compensation for ‘yer man Tobi’ then?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Not too upset to see the back of Tobi as he can blow hot and cold. Good potential but is a bit daft to say the least. But I have to say Caulfield is really an annoying tit. He obviously has no scouting connections at all. Just waits to see who we unearth and signs them the following season. Mind you he has taken a couple of duds as well. ****.
Even one of the biggest duds turned out to be a hero!
Shamelessly knicked from Twitter
Caulfield has now signed a starting XI from Sligo Rovers
Gledhill
Tobi Beattie Folan Davoren
Djilali Keohane Sadlier Gaynor
Campion Elding
Population of Cork far greater than Sligo so Tobi's film career should take-off big time.
On the football field however, has lots of talent but a terrible attitude, and appears to rebel against discipline by just doing nothing.
Also likes the nightlife regardless of football obligations.
What was all the talk of Cork losing a player to Dundalk? Was it a late change of mind or what? Also, will Bolger's departure be considered a loss or was it inevitable in recent weeks?

We've known Bolger is leaving since mid season. He and McCormack play in a similar position and prior to the cup final were unable to fulfill those roles concurrently. Bolger is class. McCormack is better. Bolger is too good and too expensive to sit on the bench. We could bring in another midfielder on much less money and have more flexibility throughout.
Karl Sheppard has made Stephen "I'm not going to lie to you" Kenny look very silly by changing his mind and deciding to stay in Cork. Kenny all but confirmed he had signed Shep in the build up to the cup final, in a clear attempt to unsettle our preparations, while at the same time accusing us of a lack of class. Whether these comments affected Sheps decision or money played a part or some combination we don't know, but it's very very sweet.
Thanks for all that information. I was blissfully unaware of all of it. I was surprised to see Bolger on the bench so often in recent weeks. He had the look of someone who was heading off to pastures new.
I was surprised ye're manager persisted with Sheppard in the advanced attacking role for so much of the last third of the season. Getting Sheppard to sign is as deft a touch as Campion's control in getting the extra time equaliser!
