Another ex Leicester Celtic lad, good man Gavin.
Here on a technicality.
Maxi Kougoun from UCD to Warrenpoint, slightly surprisingly.
Come a long way from two exceptional away European performances three years ago

Spurs still in for him you would imagine he'll go for more than the previously reported €400,000.
Didn't see it mentioned anywhere else on here, Robbie McCourt has signed for Bohs. A defender formerly of St Kevin's Boys, he spent the last three years at West Brom.
He was a stand out player with St Kevins before he left. Good to see a steady stream of good young players coming back to the league who were just not ready to go cross channel , but will do a good job here. Bohs left back Leahy, Dylan Watts , Stokes spring to mind.
Bizarre to see Fuad Sule on loan to the hell hole that is Larne though.
Unless there was a July release agreement, any loan or permanent move back to League of Ireland would have to have taken place before the end of July. That may not have suited Barnet as they were probably still trying to finalise their squad at that point, with the UK transfer deadlines extended into August.
A loan move to free spending Larne might have been the most attractive choice among limited options for a player who has only made one league appearance for Barnet last season.
If he does well for Larne, there may be a queue of interested LOI managers checking him out.
I'd be certain he ended up at Larne because they were the only club willing to pay all of his wages, he needed a loan move no lower than Conference South or LOI Premier Division, the NI First Division is about the same standard of the top division in LSL. Larne despite their money is a regression for a very decent young player like him
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Apart from Birmingham Alabama I can think of no place worse than Larne for a Muslim of Nigerian heritage with a Dublin accent.
Quite a good comparison and probably not far out, what would the Irish League top division be compared to then?
I often think maybe the top 4 would be mid to lower table LOI Prem, the rest 100% FD. I still enjoy watching the goals highlights on bbc no at 5pm on a sat, the defending is always good fun.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
I suspect Barnet were just not ready yet to 'cut the ties' and release him fully.Larne may have been the only realistic offer willing to cover his wages. he had a great half season or so at Bohs but always felt he jumped too quickly in accepting Barnet offer.Another season here might have generated better offers, long term. good player and hopefully this loan will grant him more time on the pitch and get his career back on track.
Bazunu signs for Man City for £420,000.

What's funny is that at the bottom of that page, there are picture links to two other articles, both of which are basically the same article about Bazunu, with 2 different prices...you can see the price going up.
