Dundalk are close to finalising the permanent transfer of Krisztián Adorján. Stephen Kenny said the club hope to finalise a deal this week. His loan deal from Novara ends in eight days
Harps have signed Niall Logue on loan from Derry
Harps have brought in John Kavanagh from Cork on loan for the rest of the season.

John Kavanagh signs for Harps on loan to the end of the season
Waterford signed Latvian defender Renars Rode and Corey Galvin from Bray Wanderers. Galvin played well against us back in June so must have impressed Reynolds to sign for his 2nd spell at Waterford.
i must be the only one who enjoyed the shane keegan piece i thought it was honest and insightful
Adjoran returns to Italy this week as his loan period with Dundalk is up tomorrow. Looks like another Italian Serie B club also interested in him now along with his parent club Novara. Dundalk want to keep him, and tried to do a deal last week, but since this development of two clubs now talking to him in Italy, I would be very surprised to see him returning.
He was excellent, probably should have been used more, but at least Chevedukas has finally gained near full fitness (used last 15 mins v Bohs) and both he and McEleney will offer options in MF.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Thats a pity. It seemed like we were only recently starting to see his best stuff. McEleney is a fine replacement though.
It was refreshing to see Dundalk even have the scope of scouting to pick him up in the first place. Perhaps a sign that there would be other players like that floating around the lower level Europea Leagues for future seasons?
Italian Serie B is in total disarray at the minute. Only 17 of the scheduled 20 teams are registered. Bari and Cesena have been relegated to Serie D for financial reasons and Avellino failed to register in time.
There's issues with two Serie A sides as well. Parma and Chievo are both under investigation for different things, Parma match fixing and Chievo for dodgy transfer dealings.
Bit of confusion all round there, and people wonder why the Italian league has become such a basket case this past ten or fifteen years.
Makes the League of Ireland look a model league at times.

Couple of ins and outs at Dalymount - Philly Gannon and Karl Moore left (Moore having a decent debut for Shels !!!) and Dylan Watts (retired ). In comes Daniel Kelly from Bray (scoring twice on his Bohs debut against Bray) and Ryan Masterson from Drogheda.

He's pushing 33 so you wouldn't be too surprised if he retired. It would be a pity though, he's still got a lot of quality. He's capable of playing for one of the top teams imho but I heard he stayed with Bohs over the last few years because he wants to keep his day job.
He's been on the bench a lot over the last few months which surprised me. But maybe he can't commit to football as much as he used to...
Kavanagh confirmed on twitter that he's left Bohs. Didn't mention if he's going anywhere else. Just thanked the staff and fans etc.
Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Shels. They seem to have new investment and were able to attract Karl Moore from Bohs. That's serious quality to be able to attract in the 1st Division.
David O'Connor. Ex UCD, Rovers, and I think Limerick too?
