There's nothing like a messer to try to stuff up a poll!

I told you night games were a magnet for messers and blagards.

Saturday at 18:30 if we have to have evening games.

The should play every time the team goes out on a pitch.

Saturday. 3pm. There is no excuse for people to stay away then as there is no foreign sport on the telly.

Saturday nights with 6 kick off. Finished in enough time to head in town early. MOST people will be finished work then!

    Friday night all the way
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

The thing about Friday night is that it would rule out the possibility of having a few cold ones before the game (for a lot of people). I like the idea of going to Frankie Sulls at about 3.00, lounging in the beer garden for a few and then going to the game. I have a feeling Friday night would be a rush for lots of people. Friday night also rules out the chance of exiles getting back on time.

What's wrong with Sundays, except when it clashes with other big sporting events. It's always something to look forward to during the weekend.

Perhaps they'll play on Sunday afternoon for the spring and fall (note Canadian influence) and then switch to Friday/Saturday evening for the summer months.

as i said on my own thread sat. at 630/7pm would draw in the crowds and it means dubs wouldnt be rushin down to the capital in a friday night.if matches were on a sat evening there would be quite a few genuine away fans making a weekend out of it.strangely enough this would put cash into the local economy(Evergreen!! ) seriously though the hole city would benefit
    j'accuse!

    Definitely

Saturday at 6.30 .... allows for away support, thus atmosphere, enough time to do stuff in the day then get in a few scoops and see the game and you can still get into town and get out of your minded battered drunk later on as well, Exiles can get home, and alot of people who play their games on a Saturday or Sunday, can get to it (most peoples games are on during the day).

Over-all .... What i think would best benefit the club with my own interests aside is Saturday at 6.30.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Friday nite 7.30 would be great, feck the away support, they don't give a toss about us if we have to travel to the pale. As for the exiles , get on your bike a wee bit earlier instead of stopping for a pint!

    Yeah ..... but

Dont we want their money ?? Some away support could bring a hundred to two hundred and at € 7 a go, that is a few players wages right there, so isn't kinda stupid seeing as Saturday could be done just as easily and suits the **majority** of people.
